Hi everyone

I am curious, what does this option in the server cmd line do?

It does exactly what it says, it makes sure it does not log into the steam client. Some servers require that option if their running multi host or multiple servers. It avoids spam on the steam login services as well from my experience.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have been thinking of creating a server on the LAN at my home just for my family when we want to play together without the world out there. So this might help for the server not to show up on the master list?

Hello,

Your server will still appear in the master list. You can password your server through the startup line in your batch or sh file. Remember ARK has a huge cluster in you CPU.
