Server issues please help

So for the past 4 hours I been trying to get on a server I been playing on for like 36 hours game time but when I load the server list only a few servers pop up and when I try to load the servers it says host connection timeout and keep in mind the server I play on is not in the list at all I am starting to get annoyed but still reminding myself that the game is in alpha and I know that the servers are not down cause i have buddies that are online please help me find a solution I have tryed turning off my firewall, rebooting, and rebooting the game. if you need more info just ask
