Dino Battalion

Post by Tristain » Sat Jan 09, 2016 4:31 pm

Hello,

I'm quite new to this game, haven't leveled a survivor over lvl 65 yet, but there are a few things I would love to see implemented into the game. I don't know if my suggestions are already implemented, and I apologize in advance if they are and I don't know about them yet.

I would love to see a feature included in the game where we can assign a few tamed dinos as a personal battalion, where we could track the battalion status, like health, stamina, hunger and etc for each individual dino, and assign tasks for this battalion without affecting any other dinos nearby.

For instance: When you assign a dino to your battalion, a new HUD window would show up on your screen, like the ones that pop up when you hover your "cursor" over a dino nearby. These windows could be smaller than the original ones, so we could fit a few of those in the screen, maybe limited by the max size of the battalion. Since realism is an important part of this game, this could be a end-game feature, where you would have to learn to mess around with your implant to make these Augmented Reality screens show at your will.

When you assign a command for all dinos nearby, but you have a personal battalion assigned, you would assign that command to the battalion instead. So, having a battalion set up and whistling Stop All would make your battalion stop following you. Maybe we could have 2 options when whistling commands, one for the battalion and one for all dinos nearby.

And at last, we should have a few options to remove a dino from and/or disband the battalion and start anew.

Thanks for your patience in reading this and forgive my bad english.
