A feature that the engram system really needs is part a because of limited engram points whenever you find an engram you should be able to learn it without losing your engram point and if its an engram you already know you should get those engram points back the second part of the engram system should be being able to make a blueprint of stuff you learn to help out you r tribemates that can still be stolen or lost you should be limited how many you can make per day ing you to help your tribe even if you arent right there to do it

Auto leveling for dinos based on predetermined setings of the tamer like you could set your maxed points of you settings like lets say that max value of dino stats has a number and that number is also reflected in a percentage which you could decide beforehand in your preferences to auto point for your dino

Another feature of chipped dinos would be being able to remote controle your dinos with commands like go here or attack that without being on them another cool thing would be like controling an individual dino with like dino sight and control without eiding thwm so for example your body would be in danger cuz ur in your dino view but if you had a flying mount and picked up your body with say an argentavis you could then snipe while aorborn when you switch to argentavis controle it could even be like one of 3 or 4 abilities you can pick for your artifact or like you can pick what u start with and then earn the other ones from killing other people and things like that the abilities could be level based so uou couldnt get a high level skill from killing a low level enemy the abilities should be like taking control of one of your dinos and co trolling them from distance ao for example leta say u forgot ur rex at home and wanted to bring them to a new base I could remote him as long as I had him chipped and could bring him through first peraon view to the new base. Another ability could be holding more walls and things with your artifact for building purposes maybe havin an auto I pdate on the map with your location could be an ability ect

Another cool concept would be to add narcotic via a syringe to some raw meat so that carnos could actually trank themselves or like have so many meat and then a narco infused meat to knock em out and thwn more meat for more controlled taming

Water pumps that remove water from a defined space so you could build a base under water and remove the water from it an oxygen pipe to supply air an air compressor to make air tanks for longer underwater survival the larger the defined space of a water pump the more gas it should take to do so and the more air you pump into a compressor the more gas it should take to do so needs a thermo wet suit for better cold control in water but not have as much armor as the trade off also having an electric heater later on to help with colder terrain also would be a great addition and finally a solar panel it should be difficult to make and take alot of obsidian to craft and have to have enough of a light source to creat power also needs a battery systeem to store energy for night because electric is a very high tier later item it should be very difficult to make them but it ahould allow for aome really interesting builds for bases and raid protection also with the gear you should be able to wear two layers the first layer should be clothing like the cloth hide and scuba suit and should stay on your respawned body the second set should be armor chitin metal I think wood like bark would be cool as an option as well from the thatch also being able to color your underwear in game to whatever would be a nice touch

Also you should be able to ride bareback regardles but it should have a random chance of you falling off the dino and no armor without the saddle also they really should add dino armor like wood then basic metal then fabricated metal like bark to start and so on that would be awesome they could still have weak points thoiugh also addlike a hard to make explosive dino bullet

A couple of things I'd like to see implemented are:-

A 'go home' mechanic. If you lose your dinosaur or die while out with it, but the dino survives, the dino will find it's way to it's marked home base. The chance that your dino will try to find it's way home is based on how long it's been tamed and which type of dino it is (herbivore or carnivore). There's also the chance that your dino will be eaten on the way home or revert back to the wild after a set amount of time.

If a dinosaur is mistreated i.e. often left without food, or the player leaves the server and abandons the dinos there is a chance for the dinos to become wild again, or possibly be looked after and then claimed by someone else. This would would mean that when someone's building becomes destroyable in PVE due to inactivity you can also start trying to claim their dinos (as long as the dino is hungry enough). If someone goes on holiday perhaps there can be a graze option allowing the dino to feed itself for a limited amount of time maybe 2 weeks.

A new way to use all that hide we collect. The engram for a one use shelter that is used during taming or if the weather is very cold/hot. You can't put a bed or anything in it but it will stop you feeling the 2 extremes that do damage to you. Perhaps even hide 'walls' that can be snapped together to form a protective barrier around the dino you are taming. they'll only provide a little bit of protection but gives you a chance to go out and kill the dino attacking. You may also have to replace the wall(s) that were damaged in the attack or lose the protection provided.

A salt binn to maybe preserve some food longer but must have enough salt to make like from the sea or from underwater salt deposits or even white rocks on the beach ect

Ark Suvival Evolved needs to allow you to level up ranged damage just like how you can level melee damage
