[Survival Server] Question before buying !

Hi everyone,

1.Just want to know before buying an hosted server at Survival Server, if i have access to all this modification ( see here : https://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/d ... 178117961/ ).

2. And i want to know if its possible to have an "unofficial" server ?

3.Oh and another thing, its possible to "backup and save" server in Survival Server? Because i have to go away from my computer 4 days and dont want to loose my tamed dino or something else if i buy a server right now

1. If they give you access to FTP, you should.

2. It will be unofficial

3. Again, they may have this built in, but if you have FTP, you can just manually copy the save files.

The link would not work for the mod question.
Some servers block you from using dll's if you using one of those dll injection plugin loaders.

That site the other poster linked isn't bad ... around 2$ a slot US dollars.

If you want lots of slots looking a dedicated server host. they can be pricy though. I pay about 250$ a month for mine but its
good hardware and gets the job done. I run a 200 pop Minecraft server + my ark server off it with no lag.
Also dedicated ... you will have to have knowledge of servers (firewalls, scheduling(Cron jobs(Linux). for auto backups / auto updating), basic command line commands(Linux) if you use Linux.)

Although it can be run from a VPS with at least 2 cores and 4 Gigs of RAM. It would be a bit slow and on Windows Servers you do require a bit more CPU power cause Windows can be quite a hog.

#1 Yes you can add mods to your server via FTP (full access except access to the .exe file which you do not need access to)
#2 Yes, all servers are Unofficial
#3 Backup and save was implemented about a week ago.
