Hiya, I've read a few beginner guides that say to coordinate your crafts with your friends because you can't learn everything alone. How does this work for single player mode? Do we get more points? Can I make two profiles to cover everything eventually? I don't have friends who play this and I refuse to play on a public server. Thanks.

Those "supply" drops some times have blueprints in them so that you can use those to craft some things. I didnt really start finding them till level 25+. Even some of the higher level predators will have them/gear for you to loot. So make sure you try and get to the supply drops and to loot larger dinos. The Birds seem to have a good drop rate for patterns.

I find i'm often able to upgrade my armor through them, so i feel safe in simply investing my engrams into building, and let the gear be found. <3
It's working pretty well so far, and the carno i managed to lure to a cliff and tame has become an amazing hunting partner for me. Who says you can't enjoy ARK alone? xD

You can play on your own just fine. You just have to be a bit more carefull when picking engrams, only grab the stuff you know for sure you'll need.

As for not playing on public servers, there are plenty of private servers that offer a pve/coop setting without any pvp or baseraiding. While you can play solo, it is a lot of fun in group.

Now with ark is a little bit different , i start solo but when i know the game well enough ill join public servers to show my skills

For those who enjoy building and single player, or don't want to worry about base raiding over night. My friend and I have a High preformance server that is new with a wide open map. I am around all the time, especially prime time to help. Its more or less single player but with others mucking about sharing ideas and having fun... so feel free to message me or add me on steam. maxkilo2

I always play on PvE servers in survival games because PvP servers always end up with endless ganking and griefing. No matter if it's H1Z1 or any other survival game, gankiing and griefing is sadly inevitable.

Check out http://ark-servers.net/tag/pve/ and try some servers where players can't kill each other or trash buildings.

I've been playing single player and my friend finally got the game but because I cant host a dedicated AND play with him without being 200 meters away we'd REALLY appreciate someone getting us in their server.
