red particles with black rocks?

has anyone else seen these strange black rocks around the beaches with these red particles floating around? is that like a meteorite or something? i've never seen it before and seem to get a fairly even ammount of metal, flint, and stone from it once in a while but mostly stone and metal but i don't think it's a metal bearing rock like the ones on the mountains and underground
