Xbox One: Host Barriers

Post by Rawr4MeToo » Wed Dec 23, 2015 8:52 pm

While playing with friends on my Non-Dedicated server, one is building there house and another getting wood but the person is too far. I was wondering if you could remove this because it is not really useful at all.

From what I understand, you have to be on a dedicated server to avoid the host barrier. You can make a dedicated server, but put a password on it so only you and your friends can get in.
I don't know from experience though, because my boyfriend wouldn't listen to me when I told him and his friend to try it lol. So let me know if it works, or else hopefully someone else has an answer!

When you host a Dedicated Server you yourself can't play. At least that's what I learned. I was trying to play with my friends but couldn't because all you are doing is controlling it.
