A Dash/Dodge function

Something I feel the game really needs to make close quarters dino combat more feasible.
How many times have you been run down by a Raptor or Carno and wanted to jump sideways out of the way, only to hop a little bit to the left and then get wrecked?
Basically the Dash/Dodge/Roll would be activated by holding the sprint button while moving left or right, and pressing Jump. Instead of jumping upward, the player would dive into a roll out of harms way. While rolling, the player is invincible for the duration of the animation.
This could take a lot of stamina to prevent it from being spammed, to the point where a player would only be able to roll about 4-5 times on a full stamina bar.
