ARK: Survival Evolved Forum

*im mostly posting to find some sort crash text file or create one with a debug mode
I have seen some posts about the game not starting for people but they are a month old and it seems that is has not been fixed.
So basically my game will not start i get no window, no error, nothing.
Steam starts to launch it and task manager allocates resources but it gets killed once more ram gets allocated.
I have
i5 - 4670K
Amd radeon HD7850
12GB ram

I have done these things so far to fix it
Reinstalled Ark
verified Ark
Reinstalled graphics drivers
Reinstalled Redist 2010, 12, 13
Reinstalled Direct X (and others)
Reinstalled Steam
Reinstalled windows 7 up to Service pack 2
I have zero Antivirus (because you don't need one)
Turned off firewall
tried some Launch commands

It seems you are missing out a .net framework and components to run the game. Have you tried to install the latest directx (full!) .netframework?

Also it would be use full to install the files inside the following folder (Example in my case):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\_CommonRedist

I have done all that.
It seems i bought the game at the wrong time the new patch makes people have weird crash problems so i think i might be having same issues

In about 5 hours there is another patch that includes several fixes for crashing patch notes located here. Although I hope it would work by then for you and don't let this discourage you!
