Dinos not gaining xp after taming

Hello i tamed 2 dinos today and neither one is gaining any xp.When i finished taming ankylo it was at +7 to lv and it never applied and is not gaining any xp.

You have to access the dino inventory and level it up from there just like your own character

Pretty sure that is not what Kunga meant. I have had the exact same thing happen to me today. Was taming a nice sabertooth when a message appeared that the servers would be shut down within 15 minutes. The taming bar reached about 85% when the server went down. As soon as it was back up, I logged in. I rushed to the sabertooth to find it still sleeping on the ground. However, the taming bar had the "put food in inventory to start taming" message. I opened its inventory to find all the meat and narcotics still there. I removed it and put it back in... Then noticed that its torpor was at zero!! I paniced and started feeding narcotics to it. Torpor rose...suddently it was standing up. I thought I was too late but it appeared to have completed taming.
I threw on a saddle and rode it inside the base....i noticed it was quite a bit slower than our other sabertooths.. Upon futher investigation, it was not receiving any xp over time like all the other dinos we have. Further testing seemed to indicate that it was performing with pre-taming stats (it had 110% melee damage before and over 200+% after taming but it could not kill a dodo in less than 2-3 bites, it had 100% movement speed before and 130% after taming but it moved significantly slower than the other saber which also had 130% movement speed).
Unclaiming it and reclaiming didnt change anything.

Definitely a bug.

That should not happen during taming in theory, although when taming an animal some of the points do change/reset which is confirmed on reddit a couple of days ago with an Itchi. Although for these kind of cases it is the best to write it to reddit.com/r/playark where the devs accept bug reports and issue's. If it is not a bug people will attend you to the facts over there, it is the most friendly sub reddit out there.

That's exactly what happened to us too this day (08-07-2015).

We were taming a Spino. About 85% being tamed the server crashed and we all are kicked out.
We went back online and the same problems with also no torpor has occured en lower stats.
This is not good.
